The 87th Annual National Convention, held at the Delta Quebec in Quebec City from May 24-27, is shaping up to be an exciting and valuable experience. Featured are a varied group of speakers presenting professional development sessions covering a range of topics from workplace health, to community newspapers online, to editorial critiques from ISWNE. The Great National Ideas Exchange is sure to be a highlight with newspapers from across the country sharing their success stories. The convention culminates with the Better Newspapers Competition Awards Banquet where the winners of this extremely popular nation-wide competition are honoured.
Not to be missed are the many social networking opportunities such as the PresidentÔÇÖs Banquet, Friday nightÔÇÖs dinner excursion to a traditional Quebecois sugar shack featuring entertainment by comedian Chris Hall, the CIDA Awards Banquet, and of course the hospitality suites.
