In a random draw held on Monday, January 21 the Ajax/Pickering (ON) News Advertiser was selected as the winner of the 2008 Better Newspapers Competition’s earlybird draw.
BNC entrants who submitted their packages by the January 9 earlybird deadline were entered in the draw for a voucher worth up to $1,500 toward the cost of attending the Canadian Community Newspapers Association’s convention, Ink & Beyond. A total of 63 entries qualified for the draw.
