International newspapers publish leaked military documents

Over 92,000 classified field reports on the Afghan war were strategically released to leading U.S., British and German newspapers this week. The intelligence records were included in an archive obtained by Internet news organization Wikileaks. The non-profit organization gave three publications, The New York Times, the Guardian and Der Spiegel, advance access to the material on the condition they publish the information on the same day the archives were uploaded to the Wikileaks website.
