The Globe and Mail’s André Picard receives Hyman Solomon Award

The Globe and Mail’s public health reporter, André Picard, is this year’s recipient of the Hyman Solomon Award for Excellence in Public Policy Journalism.

The Hyman Solomon Award is presented annually by the Public Policy Forum to a journalist whose work provides insights into the policy-making process in Canada. Picard has worked at The Globe since 1987 and received the award for Canada’s top newspaper columnist from the National Newspaper Awards in 2010.
