Winnipeg Free Press reporter wins Archaeological Association award

Bill Redekop from the Winnipeg Free Press has been honoured with a Public Communication Award from the Canadian Archaeological Association. The regional reporter was recognized in the Writer/Producer category for a 2011 story on a historical discovery made by Manitoba Hydro workers.

Redekop has been with the Free Press since 1988 and previously received a National Newspaper Award for coverage of Manitoba’s 1997 Flood of the Century.
