Newspapers Canada is pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 Extra Awards. The Awards celebrate outstanding advertising in newspapers across media: print, online, tablet, mobile and more. All of the winning ads from this year’s competition, including Dare Vancouver’s Best of Show ad for B.C. Children’s Hospital, can be viewed online at www.newspaperscanada.ca/extras.
Rethink collected the highest number of awards, earning a total of nine honours including two Silver and three Bronze for advertisers Orkin and Playland.

The quality of entries and the creativity demonstrated was impressive. While a print entry won Best of Show, the number and quality of the digital entries and winners demonstrate newspapers success in this arena.”
