Chris Bryan leaving his role at Black Press

In British Columbia, Chris Bryan is leaving his post as editor of the New Westminster NewsLeader and Burnaby NewsLeader. He has served as editor of both Black Press community newspapers for seven years. He has earned a number of national and international awards for his columns over the course of his career and was named Editor of the Year in 2009 by Local Media Association (formerly Suburban Newspapers of America).

After 15 years in journalism, Bryan is leaving the industry to start a new career at TransLink.
