Postmedia COO Wayne Parrish to step down on June 30

Postmedia’s chief operating officer Wayne Parrish is stepping down from the media chain at the end of the month. Parrish has ben with Postmedia’s senior executive team since 2010. “Under Wayne Parrish’s operating leadership, initially as Chief Transformation Officer and for the past three and a half years as Chief Operating Officer, Postmedia has undergone a fundamental transformation from a traditional newspaper company to a multi-platform media company including the recent addition of the Sun Media brands,” said Postmedia president and CEO Paul Godfrey.

In other Postmedia news, Dustin Parkes is joining the newsroom at the National Post as the editor for the Arts section and Jessica Johnston has been named the new Weekend Post editor.
