Photographer Ian Kelso retires from the Etobicoke Guardian

In Ontario, Ian Kelso is retiring from his post as the staff photographer at the Etobicoke Guardian after 40 years with the newspaper. The British-born photographer first started his career at the Liverpool Echo at 20 years old. After relocating to Canada in the late 1960s, he spent several years working at the Don Mills and Scarborough Mirror newspapers and freelancing at the Toronto Star before joining the staff at the Guardian.
