Robert Fife named Globe and Mail Ottawa Bureau Chief

The Globe and Mail has appointed veteran political journalist Robert Fife as its new Ottawa bureau chief. Fife comes to the newspaper from CTV where he most recently served as the Ottawa Bureau Chief and was the executive producer for daily political show, Power Play with Don Martin, and CTV’s Question Period.

Fife began his journalism career in 1978 and has worked as a bureau chief and political reporter for a number of Canadian news outlets, including the National Post, Sun Media and The Canadian Press.

He begins in his new role at the Globe on January 1, 2016.
