Former London Free Press publisher dies at 74

Sandy Green, a former publisher of The London Free Press, has died at age 74 following a four-year battle with cancer. Green first began at the Ontario daily newspaper, then owned by the Blackburn family, in 1975. He started in a marketing role and was eventually named publisher in 1992.

Two years later, Green was appointed president of Blackburn Media Group, which at the time included the newspaper and a number of radio stations.
