Vividata: Six out of ten adults read a newspaper yesterday

Results from the most recent Vividata study confirm that Canadian adults are still reading newspapers on a daily basis. In the top 20 markets, six out of ten adults read a newspaper yesterday, in either printed or digital format.

Montreal and Ottawa/Gatineau adults report the highest daily readership at 62%. Not surprisingly, given the success of La Presse+, digital readership is highest in Montreal at 43% yesterday, about the same as print readership (42%).
