Think you know everything about community newspapers? Think again.
This presentation, based on research conducted in 2016 by Totum Research for Newspapers Canada, highlights five strengths of community newspapers including multi-platform readership, reasons for reading and automotive advertising.
Printed community newspapers are still relevant and engaging, particularly with today’s focus on social media. In one case study,
highlighted in the presentation, a community newspaper classified ad campaign outperformed Facebook advertising, proving that printed community newspapers are the original social media.
