News Media Canada continues to measure newspaper readership across different platforms and by time of day.
Total newspaper readership in Canada is strong and stable with almost nine out of ten adults (85%) reading newspaper content on any platform (print, computer, tablet or phone). Cross-platform newspaper readership demonstrates Canadians’ interest in news and continued trust in newspaper brands. Even with more Canadians are embracing technology to read newspaper content, they are still reading in print.
