Former Globe correspondent James Christie passes away

Former Globe and Mail sports writer James Christie, whose encyclopedic knowledge of the Olympics, died this past weekend at the age of 65.

Shortly after his retirement four years ago, Mr. Christie was told he had a degenerative neurological disease.
