Globe and Mail launches new project to monitor political advertising

The Globe and MailĀ has launched a new project to report on how political ads are used on Facebook.

The national newspaper is partnering with ProPublica, a U.S. investigative non-profit, who has designed a browser extension ā€“ the Facebook Political Ads Collector ā€“ that logs political ads into a database for future reporting.
