There’s only about a week left before we kick off the celebrations for National Newspaper Week, running from Sunday October 6 to Saturday October 12.
News Media Canada has once again developed a national ad campaign and is providing ad material to newspapers across the country so we can collectively send a strong message that Newspapers Matter!
Last year almost 400 community and daily newspapers across the country ran the national ad campaign in print and digital format. The advertising program was supported by a social media influencer campaign, nationally and locally, that generated more almost 400 social media posts with 13 million national reach over the course of the week!
Let’s send a message to all Canadians that Newspapers Matter … now more than ever! Please join this industry initiative and celebrate with your readers by providing a full page to run one of the national ads.
