The Dauphin Herald has launched a new weekly podcast called ‘A View from the Couch’ that features the publication’s sports writer (and former paper carrier!) Doug Zywina talking with friends about local sports and other fun topics.
The podcast is an outgrowth of Zywina’s popular column that used to run under the same name. The column would typically talk about local sports but would occasionally broaden out to national and international topics.
“The podcast has always been in the back of our minds as another way to relate to our customers young and old,” said Herald publisher Bob Gilroy in an email. “With the way the world has been over the last couple years we’ve been looking to do something positive and uplifting for people in the community to watch and this is off to a great start.”
