The Saint-Hyacinthe Courrier celebrates its 170th birthday

The Saint-Hyacinthe Courier celebrated its 170th anniversary earlier this month. The hallmark birthday makes the publication the oldest French-language newspaper in North America.

Founded in 1853, the weekly publication is older than dailies La Presse (founded in 1884) and Le Devoir (founded in 1910). It’s still doing great work!
