Martin Bélanger, Managing Director + Creative Director, UNION
Martin has been working in the advertising industry for over 20 years. As a Copywriter and Creative Director for agencies like Cossette, BBDO, Ogilvy Montreal, and Bos (DenstuBos), as well as freelancing, he created notable and rewarded campaigns for local and national brands, such as Nissan, Ikea, Boston Pizza, Wawanesa, Kraft, Egg Farmers of Canada, Pepsi, Labatt, Réno-Dépôt, VIARail, Winners, La Cordée, and National Bank, among others. In 2015, Martin joined UNION to open and lead its new Montreal operation, as Managing Director and Creative Director.
Eva Polis, Creative Director, DDB Edmonton
Eva is DDB Edmonton’s Creative Director and has been part of the team for 18 years starting as a copywriter. Exceeding objectives for clients and the pursuit of industry recognition is her ongoing motivation. Being a Virgo, it should not be a surprise to learn she is a perfectionist. That perfectionism does not, however, extend to her penmanship which can only be deciphered by pharmacists and her fellow creatives. A perfect day for her is a day spent with the Sunday edition of the New York Times.
Matt Antonello, Writer/Group Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi Canada
Matt Antonello was ranked number one copywriter in Strategy’s 2015 Creative Report Card. Over the course of his career, Matt’s work has been recognized multiple times in every major Canadian and international award show. Most recently, his work for Cialis received a Bronze and Silver Lion at the Cannes Lions Festival Of Creativity. Currently, Matt is serving as Group Creative Director at Saatchi Canada, where his work for Proud FM and Novartis helped the agency win the ADCC’s coveted Scarlet Letter Award for Agency of the Year. This work also played a big role in helping Saatchi achieve its highest Strategy Report Card ranking in the agency’s 31-year history in Canada. In his spare time, Matt likes to avoid writing about himself in the third person.
Pete Ross, Creative Director, CO-OP Advertising
Pete spent the past decade crafting advertising and design projects at doug agency, TBWA, DDB and TAXI before joining CO-OP Advertising as Creative Director in 2015.
