Globe and Mail wins two EPpys

The Globe and Mail was a big winner at the 2010 EPpy awards, presented by Editor & Publisher at its Interactive Media Conference on Thursday, June 17.

Globeandmail.com topped the list of six nominees for Best Newspaper-Affiliated Web Site with over 1 million unique monthly visitors. Its "Behind the Veil" feature, an in-depth multimedia series on the plight of women in Kandahar, won Best Web Special Feature – Enterprise, with over 1 million unique monthly visitors. "Behind the Veil" bested six other nominees, including features by The Washington Post, CNN, and MSNBC. The annual EPpy awards recognize media-affiliated websites and blogs.
