Free webinar on Canada’s new Anti-Spam law

On July 1, 2014, the majority of provisions of Canada’s new anti-spam legislation will take effect. When in force, Canada’s Anti-Spam Law (CASL) will, among other things, require businesses to have recipients’ consent in order to send commercial electronic messages, including emails. There are a number of things that newspapers may need to do to in advance to ensure that they are in compliance with the CASL. Given the upcoming July 1 deadline, all organizations are advised to assess their readiness and ensure they have a compliance strategy.
