Sales training expert Amie Stein joins National Conference program

Newspapers Canada is pleased to announce that industry expert Amie Stein is joining the program for this year’s National Conference in Toronto.

Stein is the director of training and development for Local Media Association where she develops and implements custom sales and digital training programs for media executives across the country. Stein has trained media professionals from over 300 companies and has appeared as a featured speaker at more than a dozen media conferences.

On the afternoon of Friday, May 22, Stein will lead three practical workshops focusing on new revenue opportunities:

Selling to Small- to Medium-Sized Businesses in Today’s Competitive Digital Landscape
Advertisers of all sizes are increasingly curious about what digital can do for them. Registration for the 2015 conference is now open. Newspaper members are encouraged to purchase their conference passes before the early bird deadline on April 20 to save $100 on the cost of registration. Tickets to the OCNA Better Newspaper Awards gala and National Newspaper Awards gala are also available for purchase.

The 2015 conference will take place in the heart of Toronto at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. Accommodations can be reserved through the conference website at a discounted rate of $179 per night, single/double.
