Nova Scotia government steps in to resolve Chronicle Herald work stoppage

After more than 500 days of work stoppage, the Nova Scotia government is striking a commission to help resolve the ongoing labour dispute at the Chronicle Herald, reports J-Source.

On July 13, the provincial government announced it is calling an Industrial Inquiry Commission to investigate the differences between both parties for the purpose of resolving the dispute. It will take place from Aug. 4 to 8, 2017.
