The deadline for entries to the Canadian Pacific Railway 2003 Better Newspapers Competition (BNC) has passed.
CCNA extended the deadline to Jan. 22 and hundreds of CCNA members entered the various award categories of the Premier and Special Competition awards.
Please note that membersÔÇÖ regional associations are still accepting entries for the General Excellence Competition that honours the industryÔÇÖs best in overall areas such as Best Front Page, Best Editorial Page and Best All Round Newspaper in six different circulation classes.

The community newspaper industryÔÇÖs greatest work and biggest stars will be honored at a gala evening featuring the Alcan/BCYCNA Ma Murray Community Newspaper Awards and the Canadian Pacific Railway/CCNA BNC. All entrants are invited to attend the gala on May 31 at the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel in Vancouver.
