PAP progress update

Over the past few months, the Canadian Community Newspapers Association (CCNA) has been meeting with officials at the Department of Canadian Heritage to discuss members’ problems and concerns with the Publications Assistance Program (PAP).

The primary goal of the CCNA is to have the program extended to cover TMC (total market coverge) papers. CCNA has also been asked by the Department to provide them with comments on ways to improve the program and to outline any current problems that members are experiencing. If you have any suggestions or concerns, please forward them to John Hinds at jhinds@ccna.ca or at 1-877-305-2262, extension 26.
