News Media Canada’s 2022 Newspapers 24/7 study found that trust in newspapers has remained high. Looking at editorial content in print, 57% of respondents said the medium was ‘completely’ or ‘somewhat’ trustworthy.

Print and digital news media organizations may to apply to News Media Canada, including French-language media in Quebec, English-language media in the rest of Canada, and Indigenous media across the country. Applications may be submitted for new project proposals.
