The judges for the 2012 Extra Awards have been revealed. Newspapers Canada has hosted the annual awards program for over 20 years and we are dedicated to continue celebrating outstanding newspaper advertising in print, online, tablet and mobile phones.
This year, three eminent judges have been selected to evaluate the best newspaper advertisements across multiple platforms. These creative experts hail from different parts of the country and will therefore provide unique perspectives and expertise:
- Gaëtan Namouric, Partner, Chief Creative Officer, Bleublancrouge, Montréal
- Jenny Smith, Creative Group Head, Target, St. John’s
- Aaron Starkman, Partner and Creative Director, Rethink, Toronto
The Extra Awards are open to agencies, advertisers and newspapers. Ads must have run in a community or daily newspaper or on a newspaper site in Canada between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012.
