Sean Murray to be inducted as a CCNA honorary life member

Newspapers Canada is pleased to announce that Sean Murray, ComBase chairman and past president of the Canadian Community Newspapers Association, will be inducted as an honorary life member of the CCNA.

Murray first joined his family’s printing and newspaper publishing business in 1990. As a third generation leader of the organization, he transformed Advocate Printing & Publishing from a small regional publisher into Atlantic Canada’s largest independent print communications company. Murray joined the CCNA board of directors in 1994 and served as president of the association from 2000 to 2001. He will be presented with his honorary life membership at the 2011 Canadian Community Newspaper Awards Gala on April 29 in Vancouver, BC.
