With over 30 categories for writing, photography and multimedia work, the prestigious Canadian Community Newspaper Awards provide a wealth of educational benefits for participating newspapers. All entries are thoroughly reviewed by a panel of judges with years of experience in the various competitive categories. Our judges are individually selected based on their knowledge, expertise and record of accomplishment.
Even if you don’t take home the top prize–these leading professionals will pass on their expert advice, offering helpful suggestions and constructive criticism for improving your publication. Many categories offer a scoring component which means you’ll receive detailed insight your newspaper’s performance.
In addition to comments from the judges, all participants will receive a digital Winners Book to take home following the awards gala. This collection of award-winning entries and feedback from the judges is an excellent educational resource for all newspapers.
