Toronto Star honoured at Online Journalism Awards

The Toronto Star beat out NPR, ProPublica, Time.com, and the Washington Post to claim the prize for best Online Video Journalism, in the large site category, at the 2010 Online Journalism Awards. The daily paper was recognized for William and the Windmill, a video feature that tells the compelling story of how a young man from Malawi used scrap materials to harness wind power. The awards were presented at a banquet held on October 30 during the Online News Association conference in Washington, D.C.
