Credible news matters

Nine out of ten Canadians are aware of the term “fake news” but most can’t agree on the meaning.

Nevertheless, the majority agree that credible news matters and 81% of news audiences believe that accuracy in journalism is key to a healthy democracy.  Half of Canada’s news audiences believe that it is up to each and every one of us to combat “fake news” by choosing credible news sources.
