Globe and Mail and Brandon Sun among the international winners at 2016 EPPY Awards

The Globe and Mail took home first place in the Best Newspaper Website category at the 2016 EPPY Awards. The paper also won Best Business Blog for Gen Y Money and tied for first place in the Best Community Service on a Media-Affiliated Website category for A Killer High, an investigation into how Canada became addicted to fentanyl.

Manitoba daily The Brandon Sun won Best News or Event Feature Video award for it’s five-part Knights of D-Day documentary series.

The international EPPY Awards are presented annually by Editor & Publisher in recognition of outstanding digital work and innovation among news media outlets from across the globe
