The newspaper industry – Canadian vs. the U.S.

The Canadian print newspaper market is much more buoyant than that in the United States. In 2009, Canadian ad revenues for print newspapers were down 11% (with the media market) vs. the U.S. which was down 29%. Experts predict, that in the U.S., print newspaper revenues will decline in 2010 while in Canada, revenues are expect to grow. The Canadian market is distinctive.
