Les Affaires has a new editor in chief

Julie Cailliau is the new editor in chief for TC Media’s Les Affaires Group.

Cailliau has been working at Les Affaires for a number of years, serving as a reporter/editor, assistant content director and managing editor. She has been interim editor in chief at the Quebec weekly since April 2016, following the departure of Géraldine Martin.

In her new role, Cailliau will oversee the content strategy for the newspaper and its website, as well as finance magazine Les Affaires Plus.

“With a passion for the world of business and entrepreneurship…I am confident that Julie will fulfil the expectations of all our readers,” said Sylvain Bédard, vice president, business Solutions and group Publisher for Les Affaires Group, in a press release. “I know she aspires to a strong and healthy economy for Quebec, and in her new role, she will be able to contribute in her own way.”
