New fact sheet now available for ‘Local Newspapers: Trusted and True’ study

News Media Canada has released a new fact sheet highlighting key points from the recently released research study, Local Newspapers: Trusted and True.  On a daily basis Canadians are overwhelmed by media on multiple platforms, exposed to thousands of ads and brand messages.

Newspapers provide a trusted environment for advertising, resulting in stronger consumer engagement in a world where advertisers must compete for attention. Newspaper ads, in printed or digital formats, are trusted by almost six in ten Canadians. Even millennials believe newspaper ads are the most trustworthy.
