Head of Quebec Community Newspaper Association announces “semi-retirement”

Richard Tardif, the executive director of the Quebec Community Newspaper Association (QCNA) has announced he will be leaving the organization at the end of June. Tardif says he’ll officially be “semi-retired”.
Tardif studied business, environmental science and journalism at Concordia University and began his journalism career as a freelancer in 1996 specializing in environmental issues, political and business affairs before joining The Eastern Door newspaper in Kahnawake, Quebec, in 2006. Richard joined the QCNA in February 2012.
