Newspapers Canada releases Q2 Daily Newspaper Revenue Report

Newspapers Canada reports quarterly on daily newspaper revenues in the following categories: print advertising, online/mobile advertising, circulation and other revenue. The Q2-2014 Revenue Report is now available on the Revenue Reports page in the Members Area.

Total revenue is 4.7% lower than the same quarter last year. Although still down over last year, the rate of decline has slowed, partly due to the inclusion of Other Revenue (now included in the survey as of Q1 2014).

You must be logged in to the site to view the Revenue Reports webpage. If you do not have an account for the Newspapers Canada website, click here to register as a new user. Please note, all newspaper revenue information is intended for internal use only.

This quarterly survey is conducted on behalf of Newspapers Canada by Totum Research and provides a high-level view of daily newspaper industry revenues. The survey is conducted online and participating newspapers represent 98% of total daily newspaper circulation.
