Study: Newspaper advertising most trusted by consumers

Trust in advertising is a hot topic these days.

Based on recent research, Canadians trust newspaper ads, in both print and digital formats, more than any other media.  Despite the proliferation of digital ad formats printed newspaper ads top the list when it comes to trusted ad formats.

Other research, including the 2017 CanTrust Index finds that news media organizations are among the most trusted, second only to not-for-profit organizations.
