Vividata: Daily newspaper readership is stable

The new Q2 2016 Vividata study, released last week, reports on what and how Canadians are reading, thinking, buying and doing from July 2015 to June 2016.

This new research confirms that print readership of daily newspapers is stable (+ 0.5 percent) and eight out of 10 Canadians are reading a daily newspaper each week in the 49 measured markets. Vividata also confirms that readership in markets with a population under 100,000 is on par with major metropolitan markets.
