The 2018 research study, Local Newspapers: Trusted and True, asked Canadians where they trust advertising the most. Out of all the traditional and digital advertising media, newspapers in both print and digital formats topped the list. Half of Canadians trust printed newspaper ads and four out ten trust digital newspaper ads.
