Daily newspapers posted gains in general ROP (Run of Press) agate lines last month, according to the Canadian Newspaper Association’s monthly ROP Linage and Inserts Reports.
ROP was up 15.7% overall in the General category with Retail ROP up 4.6%. The number of Inserts was also up, increasing by 8.3% overall in June. The Business-to-business category was the strongest performer, with increases of 55%, followed by Financial Services with a 38% gain.
