The Canadian Journalism Foundation (CJF) has extended the application deadline for its Excellence in Journalism Award. Participants now have until 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 5 to submit entries for the 2012 award. The national award is given to journalistic organizations for overall extraordinary performance in two categories; large or national media and small/medium or local/regional media.
The recipient is determined by a judging panel and will be announced at the CJF Annual Awards Gala held in Toronto on June 7, 2012.
