Entries are now open for the Atlantic Journalism Awards. The annual competition is open to any journalist or news organization in Atlantic Canada whose entry was published or broadcast in an Atlantic Canadian media outlet (including daily and community newspapers) during 2012.
The awards program offers Atlantic journalists the chance to enter 28 distinct categories honouring editorial, photography and multimedia work including Breaking News, Feature Writing, Editorial Cartooning, and Best Page Presentation.
The final entry deadline for the Atlantic Journalism Awards is Monday, February 4. Winners will be recognized at an awards dinner in Halifax on Saturday, May 11.
