News Media Canada is pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Canadian Community Newspaper Awards. Each year, News Media Canada recognizes the best in community publishing from across the country, with a diverse array of categories covering editorial, photography and multimedia.
This year’s competition saw 201 publications submit 2,266 works into 34 categories. Newspapers of similar circulation size compete against each other and are judged by a panel of industry experts.
