Newspapers Canada has officially launched its 2014 national awards programs: the Canadian Community Newspaper Awards (CCNAwards) and the Great Idea Awards. Both competitions are bilingual, with the CCNAwards honouring work from our community newspaper members and the Great Idea Awards recognizing outstanding marketing initiatives from both our daily and community members.
This year, we’ve partnered with NewspaperToolbox to create a new entry website to make the submission process quick and easy. NewspaperToolbox provides a monthly service of promotional ideas, ready-to-sell advertising concepts and supporting articles for community newspapers. The new entry site allows users to register, submit and modify entries, and process payments online.
The final entry deadline for both the CCNAwards and the Great Idea Awards is January 31, 2014.
