The Great National Ideas Exchange 2006 is looking for your best advertising and promotional ideas for this year’s session at the 87th Annual National Convention in Quebec City. This year’s session will be held on Saturday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to noon, and will focus on the ideas that helped papers raise advertising dollars, increase subscriptions, improve their bottom line, or generate good will in their community.
Members have two choices for presenting at this yearÔÇÖs session: they may either submit their entry in advance of the event and provide two to three photos or images for the slideshow presentation, or they may show up at the session and present the idea on the spot.
At the end of the event publishers in attendance will vote to select the “Great Idea”, which will be awarded a voucher for a two-night stay at any Delta Hotel in Canada. A selection of the other ideas will also be featured in a special section of The Publisher to give other community newspapers across Canada the chance to learn from their colleagues.
