It’s time to start sorting your best work. Entries are now being accepted for the 2009 Better Newspapers Competition.
Encompassing 31 categories, the BNC recognizes the best in editorial, photography, advertising, promotion, and special categories, including Best Web Site, Best Canadian Forces Base Paper, and Environmental Writing, to name a few.
Not to mention the CCNA’s prestigious General Excellence awards, which honour the overall best community newspapers across Canada in eight circulation classes.
Entries that are shipped by Wednesday, January 14, 2009 will also qualify for the earlybird draw, which is worth up to $1,500 toward the cost of one person attending the 2009 national convention in Montreal, co-hosted by the Canadian Newspaper Association.
The final entry deadline is Friday, January 23, 2009.
Forms are available below, or read more about competition at www.communitynews.ca/bncawards.
