Websites competed in 11 categories in three different divisions including the new Green Division for sites produced by daily and weekly newspapers and broadcasters. Torstar's Thestar.com received the award for Best Overall Companion Website, Best Cross-Platform Initiative and Best Video. Cyberpresse.ca received awards for best mobile application and best website design and Theglobeandmail.com took home an award in the Best News category.
