There are only a few days remaining for early career journalists to apply for The Canadian Journalism Foundation Greg Clark Award. The unique award has been designed to offer working journalists a chance to gain insight and meet key decision-makers on their beats.
The successful applicant will get an opportunity to spend up to a week observing the inner workings of an organization not usually accessible to the working journalist.
The award addresses the need for broader awareness and exposure of the increasing complexity of issues and institutions journalists cover in day to day reportage. Read the Greg Clark experience of last year’s winner, Marion Warnica.
The application deadline is Friday, March 16, 5:00 PM EDT. The winner will be honoured at the CJF Annual Awards Gala on June 7, 2012 in Toronto.
